Thanksgiving Baskets

For the last four years, Mesa has put on a community-wide Thanksgiving food basket drive for Mercy House Transitional Living Centers. The baskets are stocked with all the trimmings to make a Thanksgiving dinner, including turkeys.

All of our communities contributed along with our Corporate office donating the turkeys. Every year, our Corporate office decorates the baskets with inspirational messages and delivers them personally to Mercy House Transitional Living Centers.

Toy Drive

In 2009, Mesa added a holiday toy drive to our charitable events and teamed up again with Mercy House. It is a portfolio-wide event, with residents at all of our communities donating new, unwrapped gifts in our leasing office. Every year since we started, we’ve been overwhelmed by everyone’s generosity. We usually fill up two cars when we’re ready to drop them off. Every year we are so pleased that we can help local children who may go without at Christmas.
